Lymph Medical’s main focus is on creating more awareness and education about the value of high-quality compression product options for people with Lymphoedema, Lipoedema and ultimately any Oedema.
The Mission of Lymph Medical is to supply high-quality imported and locally sourced compression products including garments, bandages, assistive devices, pneumatic compression pumps, wound care facilitating products and everything health and wellness related to medical compression. We differ from our competitors in that we are proud to collaborate and provide continuing education to support all of our suppliers who distribute to make the best and research based informed decision for healthcare practitioners and patients throughout Southern Africa.
Our Vision is to educate all healthcare medical professionals and the public, with current up-to-date research-based and clinically proven treatment techniques and solutions for any type of oedema or lymphatic disorders.
The founder, Suzi Davey OTR/L, CLT-LANA, CLWT, is a Lymphoedema Specialist from the USA and has been specialising in Lymphoedema, Lipoedema, Compression and Wound Care management since 1998, in Boca Raton, Hallandale Beach and Sunny Isles Miami, Florida. In her privately owned Lymphoedema Specialty Practice she learned through trial and error what treatment techniques and compression products worked for Lymphoedema, Lipoedema and any Sports Injury Oedemas. Her practice in Florida was a multi-disciplinary group of highly qualified and passionate healthcare practitioners all certified in lymphedema therapy consisting of Physios, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, Nurses and certified/licensed massage therapists.

Previous to Lymph Medical Academy the idea to create awareness for Education on Lymphatic Disorders in South Africa started as Lymphatic Education Africa (Pty) LTD founded in 2014 as www.lymphafrica.com.
The main focus then was on Lymphoedema and Compression EDUCATION and creating greater AWARENESS for the general public and all healthcare professionals, especially medical doctors about the management options in effective treatment techniques and compression products available for patients with Lymphoedema, Lipoedema and Oedema. From creating more awareness, by 2016, we recognised there was a great need for cost-effective compression garments and bandaging treatment options and increase availability in professional training in compression products available in Southern Africa and thus we evolved with two divisions and Incorporated as Lymph Africa (Pty) LTD and started www.lymphafrica.co.za
To provide quality Lymphoedema care across Southern Africa, we recognise the need for partnerships with various stakeholders. These partnerships will facilitate better treatment options and healing outcomes for patients and optimal financial risk management for Medical Aids. In 2019, Lymph Medical and Lymph Medical Academy www.lymphmedical.com was born to facilitate a greater outreach for education and selling products to International clients. We are proud to be Importers and Exporters of and exclusive re-sellers of all high-quality compression products and provide great customer service while offering products at competitive prices.
